Guidelines for maintaining a positive and engaging roleplay experience
These rules must be fully read and followed at all times. We usually give a warning, kick, then ban
Make sure to read all rules. We enforce the rules heavily, and if you get banned, that is on you. These rules are under constant revision and can be changed at any time. Ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse. Failure to abide by these rules will result in punishment.
Using your vehicle as a weapon (Running players over, causing explosions, ramming player vehicles) without a valid roleplay reason is considered RVDM.
Attacking another player without engaging in any form of quality roleplay is considered RDM. Mass RDM results in a permanent ban.
Taking deliberate actions to create a scenario where you get chased or engaged with, especially to cause a firefight, is prohibited.
Do not spam the OOC chat or the /me command.
Forcing a scenario where no matter the roleplay of the other party you will win is prohibited.
What happens in Roleplay stays within Roleplay. Do not bring in-character issues outside of the game or vice versa.
Unrealistic driving, such as stunt jumps or driving off cliffs without consequences, is not allowed.
Roleplay must take precedence over shooting or stabbing. Prematurely resorting to weapons is not acceptable.
Harassment, racism, bullying, or using vulgar language will result in a permanent ban.
Stealing every item from a player's inventory without reason is prohibited. Only take items relevant to roleplay.
Microphones are required on Crimson Network.
All players must speak English and communicate effectively during roleplay scenarios.
You must remain in character unless authorized by an admin to speak out of character.
Always value your life. If outnumbered or at a disadvantage, comply with demands.
OOC chat is for help only, and extended OOC interactions are forbidden.
Do not use OOC chat to broadcast events or reveal in-game activities.
When communication devices are taken, external methods or phones must not be used to communicate.
You are not required to roleplay minor crashes unless your vehicle is flipped or disabled.
Suicide RP is strictly forbidden.
Using OOC information to influence roleplay is metagaming and is punishable by a ban.
Identifying players via name tags or session IDs is not allowed. Uniformed ranks are acceptable.
All external communications affecting roleplay must be hot-mic'd for nearby players to overhear.
Using information from other characters you play to influence the current roleplay is prohibited.
When you respawn, you forget the events that led to your respawn and any feuds with involved players.
While downed, roleplay your injuries and avoid discussing the respawn timer.
After being revived, you must roleplay your injuries and avoid running off without a strong reason.
Use a valid first and last name. Avoid using famous or unrealistic names.
Characters should act in a manner consistent with their role and backstory.
Characters should develop over time and not start as overly powerful or wealthy.
Groups and business names must be realistic and legally appropriate.
Going off-road in non-off-road vehicles or taking non-off-road cars up or down stairs is not allowed unless you have a 4x4.
Taking very unrealistic jumps from mountains or bridges are scrictly prohibited, You are allowed to take small jumps from a motorway to another part of the motorway for example, not overly excessive unrealistic jumps
Torture RP must be reasonable. The victim must be allowed to continue RP with all body parts functional if they choose.
Leaving a gang or whitelisted job requires a one-week cooldown before joining another.
You must wait 30 minutes before robbing another store. Bank robberies are limited to one per restart.
Attacking another player without any or minimal roleplay will result in a punishment.
Hacking, cheating, or exploiting will result in a ban. Report exploits instead of abusing them.
Do not get involved in staff duties. Leave enforcement and conflict resolution to assigned admins or moderators.
